Web26 jul. 2015 · I found a much easier solution at least for the 2009 Honda Civic LX. Follow the wire from the trunk lock up and you will find a connector on the underside of the trunk lid. Undo the connector. Inside the connector that is on the upstream side you will find two metal prongs. Take a paper clip and bend it so that it jumpers across the prongs.
